I'm still in "wtf, I just shot someone with my MINI" burble mode--and loving it!
cheers,

I've only had my 2006 MCS since Saturday morning but after only 130 miles it's 'blurbling' like a baby. Sometimes the word 'blurble' doesn't do it justice though. A soft muted backfire is closer to the mark. Now I'm looking for it between 1st and 2nd gear and when I don't hear it...I feel like I've been cheated or something

cheers,
Thanks, my MCS is all of 3 months old, but no burble.

Won't complain if it suddenly develops one, but I can live without it.

I think I know what I'm listening for, my other car burbles when energetically driven, but not this car. Scheduled to do some autocrossing, maybe it will manifest itself under those conditions.

No big deal, just wondering what it's all about. Should've gone to the big Mini Meet last weekend and listened to other new MCS' to see what the deal is.
