Driving lights were installed yesterday by the dealer. It was late in the day when I picked up the car and I didn't have time to discuss the installation with the mechanic. This morning to my surprise I couldn't find the control switch. I think they either forgot to put it in or maybe I've just got a case of the ******* and failed to look for it in some "not so obvious" location. Is there a standard location? I would have thought that it would be located on the toggle switch bar but based on what I read in this forum it must go somewhere else.

On the Cooper I drove with the driving lights, the switch was to the left of an d below the steering wheel. It's an odd little switch.

Thanks, you're right. Its very small and very low, almost under the dash. I guess it would make too much sense to make it a toggle switch and put it on the toggle switch bar!

it's not a matter of making sense. it's that the toggle switch bar is a one piece unit and the toggles are actually just keys on a circuit board. It is possible to put a toggle there, but it's a delicate, time consuming operation.

Would it be possible to add toggle switches? For example, just dummy switches for an "ejection seat" or "oil slick"?
