adjusting wastegate and bov

What is a way to find out if the wastegate is adjusted properly? what to look for relating to vacuum or boost?

Should the bov be venting a little at idle under vacuum? what is the proper adjustment on how much to vent or at what rpm?

If you're driving a supercharged MCS, you don't have a BOV, unless you've added a turbo. You DO have a BPV (ByPass Valve) which routes air around the SC when the engine is not running a vacuum (aka, moderate to heavy throttle.) Stock boost level is 10-11psi, IIRC.
Some have found that the BPV doesn't close fully. You can take it off and confirm it closes fully, instructions here.

yeah i'm aware of the bpv . intimately lol . it's open while on vacuum low rpms then closes as vacuum diminishes and boost increases. therebye allowing us to save fuel at moderate driving . i ran the detroit but it wasn't my cup. so i put the oem back in though adjusted for full seal -no stick. best of both worlds .
