I have an appointment to bring my MCS in for warranty service in a few days. One of the things I want them to clear up is the cold start issue where I have to turn the key anywhere from 2-4 times before the car will start. I understand there is a software upgrade for this but I would like more information on it so I can tell the dealer exactly what to do since they already tried to fix it once and it didn't take.
I called 800-MINI-USA and they were no help, he just said to talk to the dealer to see what the latest upgrade is, (thanks for nothing). Does any one have specific information on this upgrade that I can request?

Also, Im going to have the back hatch rattle fixed for the second time. Any recommendations on this fix?

Hi Fred,
I just had this done myself..the 33.0 software upgrade. Unfortunately I am still having to start the car sometimes twice. But I think I am narrowing down the problem. If I turn off the radio/heater I have no problems starting it later. I have been using this method for a wk now & NO problems. I am taking it in next wk. I'll let you know what they find.
