Just got my Dinan installed last night....in the dark, by flashlight, freezing. Now I've got a sore throat! 
Purchased from http://www.myminiparts.com/ I've ordered multiple things from them and recommend them highly.
JCW = A bit more difficult DIY install + trip to the dealer to get the flap activated
Dinan = DIY
The install was a piece of cake. The instructions were very good. Might want to check out other threads here if you want to see the removal of the factory top. I used tin snips to cut the plastic and it was pretty easy. If I had to do it again I'd wait for sunlight and use my dremmel.
Day 1 impressions Dinan Intake + 1 Ball Exhaust :
Under 3K RPMs it's barely noticible. 4K and up you can hear it pretty good. It's not crazy loud, but very noticible. I want to film a drive by to see what it sounds like outside of the car. Normal driving conditions, keeping your foot out of the gas you'll never hear it. Maybe some more jump than before. I'm going to investigate the Dinan Stage 3 software. Also, it might just be me, but I seem to be getting more exhaust burble and I love it! 
On the other hand it might just be that I've turned the radio off and I'm driving harder to hear the SC spool up!
