Dead Xenon

Had one of my xenon lights burn out tonight, and am curious on what involved in fixing it. Is it just a bulb? Or something more involved? I should know this .

Thanks,

Nik

Most likely it is just your bulb; it could be a bad xenon ignitor unit, but you would have noticed some interment flickering before it went out.

My 03' MCS recently had a low beam bulb go out so I searched for some good deals... The stock HID replacements run about $150-200 for a single bulb and they are around 5500K. I didn't mind losing some visibility and went with aftermarket 8K HIDs because I think they look more aggressive. They retailed for $200 a pair, but I got them on-sale for 50% off with a 1 year manufacturer warranty. I personally can't tell a difference in visibility; I also got some amazing Osram 65W high beams from Daniel Stern Lighting.
