Right Front knocking

This just started last week. I haven't done anything mechanical in a couple months, so I know its not something I did (or didn't do). My wife is the MINI's daily driver, so I don't know if she hit something in the road or what. It could have been anything with these roads in Vegas. There is a knock coming from the right front area of the car (I'm assuming around the wheel) whenever I go over a bump, no matter how big or small, but I notice it more on the small bumps. It is not very loud or sharp, more of a thud than anything, but it definitely stands out from the other three corners. I haven't had time to go under the car yet and take a look as I am trying to finish up a project on my Jeep. Anybody have any clues?

Busted motor mount. Look for an oil stain from the cannister type mount on passenger side of the motor.

I had a similar noise and it was brake pad chatter in my front BBK calipers

Definitely have some drippage from the motor mount. A brown dried and hardened trail coming from under mount. Anybody know how hard these are to change?

Should be easy. And dealers have them in stock, very common. Are you not under warranty any longer?

Mine went out this weekend and I dropped it off this morning. 120mi of warrentee left, whew! Backordered part! No mounts in any warehouse or europe for approx 60 days+. SA & parts dept called several dealers and have one on route from Fla. (I have a really good dealer / serv dept at Hank Aaron - Atlanta) I would start calling in the AM asap to locate one. Maybe you will have better luck on your coast. Change out should only take an hour or so tops.

Not sure if there is an aftermarket version or not. No clue on any costs either. Sorry.
Tim
