Stock Problems/IssuesDiscussions related to warranty related issues and repairs, or other problems with the OEM parts and software for MINI Cooper (R50), Cabrio (R52), and Cooper S (R53) MINIs.
Well I finally bogged down and am taking my car to the dealer tonight to get the transmission/clutch checked out. I drove my car last night and it wasn't shifting right. So I'm asking them to diagnose the problem first...hopefully it is some leaking tranny fluid or something? We'll see, I'll let you know how it goes and what exactly is wrong. Wish me luck
so they said i need a new clutch...on top of other small things. $1175 for the clutch labor included. So I'm going to get that fixed then sell it...anyone wanna buy a mini in the nj area?
Since it is out of warranty you might want to find a good indi shop instead of using the dealer - generally speaking the dealer will be more expensive for parts and labor. Good luck with it
I know I've been looking for a shop around my area that has done work on minis before, can't find one as of now. Anyone know of a shop that does around the Bergen area of New Jersey? Any help would be much appreciated
