Headlamp problem

I have an 04 MCS with the xeon headlamps and lately on first start up they seem to shine too low. The beam shines approx. 5ft. in front of vehicle with a shadow cast to it. I can turn on high beams and it only shines to 10Ft. Then after about 1/2 hour driving it seems to correct. Also on start up it does not do the "Fancy Lite Dance" . Does anyone understand what is going on ?
Thanks in advance

the lamps should adjust the height on their own, may be a bad sensor.

Yep, either a sensor or motor (likely a sensor, if both lights are acting the same.) If they're not doing the happy dance, they are not happy.
Warranty is good.
Going out of warranty is scary.

I'm having the same issue. Car goes in to Rasmussen MINI tomorrow. Still warranted for a couple months, thankfully.

As I understand it, the leveling sensor is on the rear suspension assembly.
