I have tested a couple - although while I created and cleared a number of engine codes, I did not specifically create any ABS or AirBag codes....http://www.murmini.com/articles/2007...agnostics-pt-2

Not cheap, but it's highly regarded. I plan to get it, but I'm waiting to see when/if I buy a 335i. I'd rather wait and get a version that'll deal with the MINI and the 335i.

I've got one of these that I use for gauges and a trip computer in my F-250

I have used it to clear codes in my MINI, don't know specifically about ABS and Airbag... something may be listed in their documentation.

Thanks guys, I checked out all your links. It appears that the units that will reset ABS and airbag codes require auxillary systems. The total prices approaches $500, so I guess I'll just keep looking or try to find someone with a unit and slip him a $20 to reset one of my lights.
Maybe someone will bring their scan tool to the Dragon and do some work for an affordable fee?
thanks again,
YD

I hate to say it...
but BiM-COM beta does it. Good luck getting a copy! Other than that, there's the AutoEnginuity product with BMW/Mini add ons. The next least expensive option I know of is $4k, and doesn't cover the Mini that well. Then you get to $10k, and you can work on any BMW/Mini made..... Next step up is the factory tool, and then it's just cheaper to get a new car!
Matt
ps (with so many going to MOTD, I'm sure one of the chosen few who have BiM-COM will be there)

I thought Bim-COM was vaporware. You mean it REALLY exists?
