I just bought an '04 and it only came with one key. The key doesn't have
a remote. Does anyone know the cost of another key ?

 

i just bought some keys for my '05. the key with the fob attached is like $180-200 and the plastic emergency key is like $40-60. i dont remember exactly the price but i know i paid like $230 for both keys. and i guess the price includes the programming/labor costs cause they didnt charge me anything for that.

 

Around $400. I was at the dealer having my '05 key replaced under warranty, and I considered buying a spare key but not at that price.

its the advanced alien circuitry built into the fob.
they know you want/need it, so they just charge you for it. i know the new dodge keys that are similar to ours are like $160 or something like that.
