Coen.

Nice score on the challenge front spoiler. The car looks great already. Sounds like it'll be phenomenal when you're done.

PS - I hate you and my car feels inadequate.

I asked this on another thread but no responses. Anyways, how do you guys cope with snow? To get rid of the wheel gap, we're looking at a ~2" drop. That would probably cause underbody rub with any kind of snow on the ground. Heck, the front bumper will probably be plowing the snow.

Do you readjust and raise the height during snow times? And no, moving to a non-snowy climate is not an option :P

You just hit the snow...it crumbles There's no issue with a little snow hitting the bottom of your car.

2 inches really isn't that much of a drop. You'll still have plenty of ground clearance

Well, problem is when you drive on snowed roads previously driven by large trucks, they create a rise in the middle of the road. That rise tends to turn into ice. Ice doesn't seem to want to crumble. :P

Trust me, you've got nothing to worry about if you drive around with a 2" drop in snow.

Unless your snowplow crew doesn't clear it for some reason and it accumulates to a foot of snow, you'll be fine. If it's ever that bad, you probably shouldn't be driving anyways

If you get coils it's possible to just raise them up. It really shouldn't take too much time (especially if you already have the wheels off to put on snow tires). So that's always a possibility as well.

I drove a drop that was much lower than 2 inches in the heavy winters of Northeastern ohio with no problem.

My winter height:

Do my eyes deceive me? Is that a Ford Cortina in front of you? I haven't seen one of those in many years. What track are you at in the picture? I've run my R56 at Sebring. It's lowered about 1.25 inches and handles like a race car. Great fun.
