I still need to go a little lower in the rear.....
Also, I was working and cleaning the CCWs last night and doing a stud conversion when I noticed some oily build-up where the piston meets the coil body itself under the dust cover...would this not be normal I assume? It wasnt a lot like leaking down the coil itself, but yeah.

Initially, I just wanted coil-overs. Being a JCW, wanted to keep it more performance oriented, lighten it up, little more HP, pull off some track days with it. And if I still have it after a while, I prolly will throw on some bags. Built so many air ride vehicles, kinda burnt out on it.

SHOULD I GET SPRINGS?
So I saw some springs for a good deal. I became completely engulfed in this thread and really want to get them. After some time has now passed, any issues with stock sport suspension with lowering springs on anyones cars? Still satisfied with the ride? Many visits to the chiropractor? Would you get them again? I am not willing to drop the money for coilovers. Also, how much was the alignment to fix the camber? I am looking at H&R springs, but would like to hear feedback from everyone. Great thread. Thanks all.

Thanks, we are still working on getting the GT28Rs tuned. I have a question on tire size. My second set of tires are almost gone with 12K, and i was thinking of going to a larger tire. I know i can fit the 225/35/17, but how about 235/40/17? has anyone gone to 235's??

^^ If I was going, I woul have no problem you trying out the seat. My friend here Jason actually sat in the seat and loved it, an hes maybe 5'10" and 240lbs.
Well... maybe next year.
Jason having tried it and liked it at a similar size is encouraging, though.
Good luck with that. I'm having and will have similar problems with my Foxbody Mustang. I'm running 1" wider control arms in the front and 17x9's w/ 275 width tires and a sitting quite a bit lower than stock due to the coilovers. The only reason mine doesn't rub is that the coilovers are stiff enough that there's not much movement in turns or over bumps :D.
Car looks really good, empire. Sounds like you've got the performance aspect taken care of, too.
Or take my simple suggestion of not taking turns or hitting any bumps. Easy.
BTW, Rally, can you drive at all with the Clubman's suspension at it's lowest setting?

Oh boy, tires are a vast subject. When trying to decide what tire to go with, you need to look at the tread rating. A tire with a tread rating of 100 will wear out 3 times faster than a tire with a rating of 300. Manufacturers may inflate a tires tread rating in an attempt to sell more tires. So beware.
Ask around, and go to www.tirerack.com You can click on a tire and read peoples experience with their respective tire. Just do some research like any mod, and it should pay off. Search tires on the forum. There is bound to be some threads that have been discussing this topic.
4k on a set of tires???? Maybe you should take it easy on the streets?
Personally I dont have much experience with too many brands of tires. So i can't really recommend anything. I'm still on my stock tires btw...
