Here's an SCCA STX Autocross setup - using H&R and running 15x8 out front, and 15x7 out back. No clearance issues and some serious bite in the corners...

I guess I do not understand why one would want more tire on the back axle than the front - given that the front axle bears 65% of the weight and does 90% of all the work.

Looks lovely! It looks however like a setup that would work well on a rear-wheel drive car...

Cheers,

Charlie

You'll NEVER see me at a SCCA event with this car.

Its a "stance" thing. You either like it or are puzzled by it. There is no other reason besides looks. The car corners like a Mini Van, has terrible/no ground clearance, limited suspension travel, etc... Would I do it any-other way? -Nope.

Thanx I appreciate it.
I see so many especially of the VDub guys going with a wider wheel in the rear and love that look and I liking seeing when MINI's are like that as well.

Hey All I just put a set of Megan’s on my MSC I have a 22mm sway bar and Megan rear camber bars, and M7 front strut tower bar. I have everything adjusted down 1/2 inch above the tires front and back. Everything seems to work great except I now get this annoying light metal clanging when I first start out until I shift into 2nd gear. I have checked over everything several times and all is tight and I see nothing else loose. Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so how do I make it stop?

here is a link to my facebook lowered MCS pics.

I knew someone who used to wrap so he showed/ taught me the ways! It ended up costing $300 for the supplies and came out better than most of the wrap jobs I've seen done "professionally." The only things that are pieced in is in the door handle cup. -The reason for that is if my wife scratches it with her ring when opening the door (I'm a jerk and don't open it for her), I don't want to chop her in the throat (J/K; but I would be pretty ticked.) So, I made a template and if/ when it happens, I'll cut out a piece of vinyl and piece it in!

Pocari, can you give measurements to the bottom of the wheel arches? Are you running the stock shocks? This looks like a nice, driveable height.

For everyone running NM engineering springs, how is the front wheel gap compared to the rear? Front of my justa is already has larger wheel gap in the front over the rear, afraid this with stay/get worse with the addition of camber plates and nm springs
