Not everyone gets the vibrations. Can't remember the theory on why that is. I have been at full drop, first on H&Rs now on BCs for years and never had any axle vibration.

Haha my plastic is worn as well but I started getting concerned when I noticed a little bit of wear on the tire from it. So I just raised far enough to be able to get a finger inbetween the tire and plastic

On a side note, I can't wait to get my spacers. They cant come soon enough! Ill be posting pics once they show up and give me the clearance to slam the front.

57.1 vs 56.1

I would call 1 MM almost unnoticeable. Either way they dont vibrate, i have personal experience with them.

Yeah. So I heard (n)... Do you know the exact theory? I read that the driveshaft is on an angle and that's about it.
I could raise the rear on my H&Rs a lot more but the front are all the way up and I have a finger gap. I need to raise it a little more. I was thinking of putting in the oem spring on the H&R coilover or vice versa. Would it work? I just need to get rid of the vibrations! I don't want to destroy the car.

Here's a pic from the first day.

There are a lot of old threads on this when I searched "vibration lowering" I don't have time to read through them though.

Honestly I can't see the vibrations 'destroying' the car per say. Your car is going to be different from now on since your on different suspension. Some vibrations (along with plenty of new noises & sounds it makes) are just part of the game.

I bought my MINI already on H&R Cup suspension from a member on here. It had the vibrations you mention, but having been around low cars for so long, it was no big deal. I'm another inch lower since I switched to coilovers and the vibrations are ironically less present. It's just something you live with.

Vibrations could be wheels, tires, a lack of balancing, wheel bearing, axle, transmission.

I mean there is such thing as too low on these cars.. 3 trans and 18 axles later i will testify to that.

Yeah, I know vibrations come from those areas too. But I got mine after I lowered it. It's mostly in 2nd and a bit in 3rd gear.

Could be alignment or the wheels could be unbalanced.. sounds like its around certain speeds.

Got the spacers today, slammed it, and of course I got the vibes (also couldnt make it over the speed bumps to get home ) so I had to raise her up about 3/4" and now its doing fine. Just wish I could keep those tucked front tires

It has something to do with the angle the axle is at.

How much of a drop do the H&Rs give compared to stock even when maxed out? My VMAXX can hit nearly stock sport suspension height.

Yeah, mine are Ultra Lows. The highest setting is like a 2.0' drop still. I want to just get some Eibach Pro Kit springs!

I had eibach springs on an old civic si of mine...they rode harder than my coils and didnt handle as well...why not just get a cheap set of coils that can give you a higher ride height?
