Here's a new photo of my Clubman with Megan coilovers.
do the megans go lower than you have them in the above picture? im in the market for some new coilovers. i have H&R street performance coils on right now and was looking to go a 1/2 inch - full inch lower. whats the lowest height you can achieve with the megans? looks great btw!

I know VMAXX are about as low as coils go...but I keep hearing you get what you pay for with them. I havent had any problems with mine.
@superfly: what are the specs on those wheels/tires?
17x8 et30 wheels, 205/40/17 tires

thanks, the roof is wrapped flat black as well as the fenders because it looked like it had been through a little acid rain before i purchased it used. had a few chips out of the paint plus the rack was kind of scratching the paint so i decided to wrap it.
looks great! i have a clubman s. i was thinking about getting some Vmaxx to replace my H&R street performance coils, so i can go lower. im maxxed out. wanna go another 1/2 inch to a full inch. really like what you did with the side scuttles. may have to copy you.. haha. last question...do you scrape your underside much? i feel like i'd wanna get a skid plate if i went that low.
what kind of coils are you on? i want that exact height for my clubman s. my H&R street performance coils just arent cutting it. im maxxed out and wanna go a half inch to a full inch lower. looks great! also, those wheels are 17'' right?

Thanks! The only thing that scrapes once in a while are the tires in the fenderwells. You can't take driveways and parking lot entrances straight on, you have to go at them at an angle so you don't scrape. My driveway approach is pretty harsh, I don't scrape if I angle in forward but cant back in very easily!
ok cool. i was thinking about going witht he V1s. gonna do my best to find a deal on some V2s so i can adjust the dampening. your car looks really good man. thanks for the info!

As we have talked about you are going to want at least V2s so you get the dampening as that the V1s lack. My biggest complaint with the V1s is how soft they are.

sweet. this is me right now...a lil scared to go too much lower because i often have a full drum kit in the back of my car. but again, i love the look of your R56 mad props. well done. i usually dont like that blacked out side panel, but it REALLY works well on your car with the red. i got some meatier tires for a more comfortable ride. i personally love the way they ride and look. but if i go lower ill go with some smaller tires ..
This my car now lowered on JIC-Cross Coilovers. I have 43 threads left i can go down in the front and am only down about 10 from the top. Rear has 18 threads left.
Much better ride than the KW V1s and I was able to setup a few degrees of neg camber in the front so i can run take tire with a +20 offset without worrying now. For now I need to get my 10MM spacers back on.
From Socal Euro today:
What's the offset your running? And size of the wheel? I want to do some camber up front but don't want my wheel to rub my bags.
