have you ever considered just selling your mini and getting an impala..

I'm running on run flats still.. Contisport 3 tires 205/45/17 and the top edge of fenders is 23 3/4 from the ground. I was a little lower but raised it up because of speed bumps and my wife drives this car on occasion. I would hate for her to screw something up for not looking out. I installed ST coilovers 2 weeks ago.. I love them no issues yet

Before everyone comes up with their idea of what is wrong. Dont as I have already figured it out.

Its called too low for an R56 to go on 17s.
How low do you ride? I'm on 17's and literally ride as low as physically possible and haven't had a single issue other than my A/C line. Unless your running so much stretch that theres no tire on the actual wheel. Not comparing but I haven't had a single issue nor heard of any, so you've caught my attention.

Looks good, I've got the same wheels in grey. I tried doubling my 5 mm to equal 10mm but my 205/45/17 would rub on fenders. I guess my car may be a bit lower hmm. Right know I've only got 5mm on fronts am barely have room between spring and tire.

No worries if the 2 5mm stacked to 10 worked for me I would've ordered a 10 mm or 12 mm spacers instead. I wouldn't use stacked spacers.

Its cause those KWs have a very wide spring on them.

I believe some companies make a 7 or 8MM spacer. Next would be getting a smaller tire or a wheel with better offsets for the look you are going for.

RedAndBlack - sick looking wheels. I'm sure there are some deeper, but those are the deepest lips I've ever seen on a MINI. Awesome look!

How deep are they, exactly?
