Suspension OMP or Madness Lower Brace?

Larry
I haven't had a chance to clock too many miles on some of my favorite roads but my first impressions are very good. Mind you I did add the Madness bar and the Cabrio braces over the winter so the resultant is of the two installs.
I noticed some added understeer and increased the Web bar another notch. I will play with that a little more once I get some time on the setup. Roads here have just this week gotten above 50 degrees so I have been cautious.
There have been some very noticable diferences in the attitude of the car. There is definately less noise in normal driving. It appears that the bar or bars are allowing the struts to do their job more effectively. Going over expansion
joints in the pavement is hardly noticeable now. Also the car feels more planted on uneven pavement while aggressively cornering.
Larry I'm pretty sure you will like the changes and for the dollars spent it is IMO well worth while.

I tried the softest setting on the sway bar and yes indeed it gave more understeer and it will probably more felt in less stiff tires or higher sidewall profile. My GY RSA runflats have worse turn-ins than the OEM 17" Dunlops or Pirellis. I found this out during the Mini Test Drive event in Vancouver last 2005. It was a mistake to chose the GoodYear all season when my dealer asked me what tire I want as I don't drive my MCS during winter anyway.
I too would definitely suggest to go on stiffest setting on sway bar if underside brace is installed.
