Pic request - TSW Springs w/ 215/45R-17 tires

I would love to see some pics of TSW springs with 17" wheels and 215/45R-17 tires. I've been searching for hours and I've found one or two but I know that there are more of you out there. Post 'em up and let us drool.

Thank you kindly!

I'm curious to see some, too. I'll be ordering a set of springs here in a couple weeks or so and soon as march rolls around I'm putting on the 17's. It'd be nice to see how it'll look.

I just ordered the springs, but won't be installing them til march sometime and will be putting my crown-spokes back on with that size tire in a goodyear eagle f1 all-season at that time. I prolly won't take pics till aprilish after it settles.

Yeah, I'm pretty much in the same boat. I'm putting mine on over spring break with the summer wheels. But I'm hoping to have them pretty much settled within a couple weeks.

I'm swapping out my H&R springs for the TSW springs (keeping the stock sport shocks). I'm running 205/50/16 goodyear eagle GS d3 or whatever they are. Should have pics soon, I want a little better ride than the H&R and I'm curious to see the handling difference.

Where are the pictures???

Anyone have any pictures to post???

I have a 2009 JCW MINI that I have been inquiring about the TSW springs. I want a moderate drop (around 1").

My concerns are that it may not be 1" when I install because my JCW is a stripped down version - no options other than Hi-Fi stereo and sport suspension. Also rear seat delete.

With the springs, plan on added rear control arms and sway bar (looking at H-sport)

Any input would be appreciated

Hopefully the weather will improve and I will be able to re-install my 17's. Give me about 2 weeks.

I just got my TSW's today and I'm throwing the Team Dynamics (205/45/17) on there this weekend when I install the springs. Now, they probably won't be settled in until about the end of next week, but I'll post some photos then. In the meantime, here are some pics that Blacksapphire sent me of his car before he made the switch to KW V1's.

He said this was after about 300-400 miles.

Hope you don't mind, Blacksapphire!

Hey Trashed.....

You probably won't get a full 1". It's tough to say but I didn't notice much difference between stock and the TSW springs. They do claim 3/4"-1" I believe though. Here is my car with TSW springs and 215/45/17 tires:

The chassis is the same - JCW, MCS, etc...

Sway bar is a great addition. Do you plan to autocross? If so, you may want to adjust height on each corner to cross-weight the car. In that case, you're talking coilovers..... yeah! That's not necessarily a bad thing.

The rear control arms are cool (heck, I have them) but they may not be required. If you go with TSW, I can't see that you would need them at all unless you're looking for REALLY aggressive rear camber settings.

Here are some pics of my rear control arms, coilovers, etc.

Good, I almost added in "please don't sue me" in that post.

I wonder if the TSW's just take a little extra time to settle in. SK8BRD said he was still measuring drops after 500-600 miles or so.

I guess that's certainly possible. I wonder what makes TSW springs so different than every one else out there though (with respect to settling)?

Maybe it's the heavier rate. That's the only thing I can figure.

They're different because they are linear rated.

I really like these springs and would consider switching to them from my Mach V's, I gotta say though...the drop just is not enough for me . It seems hardly noticeable...

TSW springs and 17X7.5" wheels ... only about 250 miles (but 1+ month) since the install.

Yeah, that looks typical. Rears are settled in nicely at around 250 miles - ish, and the fronts still need more time. I think that if, ultimately, you give the fronts more time to settle, it'll be an outstanding look! (Not that it looks bad now.)

500-600 miles is one week for me, and I also had to wait until the wife's car was out of the garage. Anything less than a dead level surface messed up the measurement.
