Best suspension for my situation

I have read and searched for all the answers and it's really confusing me. I want a car thats not too harsh as I commute 2+ hours aday. I go to the track roughly 5-10 times a year. I would really like to have better handling. I was wondering what would you guys recommend as a good compromise for the suspension? Also I've read alot abotu these end linkls and stuff but have no idea what they do. thanks all.

Do you care about lowering the car, or are you looking more at function?

What's your budget?

I have HR spring right now but the dam thing keeps bottoming out. So I just want to do it right. I'm looking to have a balanced car for both track and street. I'm willing to spend up to 2K for the suspension. thoughts?

If you track the car as much as 10 days a year, you may want something a little more durable. Perhaps KW v2 or V3 or Eibach multi pro 1 or 2.

The eibach pro street is a KW v1 with eibach springs, for track use 10 or so days a year they would work fine if only doing a hot lap(twintube) for more serious work the eibach muti pro 1 would be perfect.

Imho most people would struggle to dial in the mutil pro 2 .

Eibach Multi Pro I and KW V1 are prime coilover choices both comfort and sporty...

NM or TSW springs with FSDs, and JCW setup are the non-coilover choices by most. although JCW is most expensive, it gives a very comprehensive package with springs, shocks, front and rear swaybars... won't lower like all the other choices but hey, it's made by MINI

The multipro line have koni dampers and the pro street line have kw dampers.

Talked to Koni Engineer and his exact words about the fsd with lowering springs was NO NO and NO

Texas Speedworks KWs would be a good choice. Call Jeff and discuss they can customize KWs to your taste.

KW texas speedworks are very expensive for a twintube coilover that can not be revalved or rebuilt.

I would think if you shop hard enough you could get bilstein pss10 or ebach muti pro 1 for less.

If you get the Eibach Multi-Pro, you'd have to get stiffer springs. 5k is pathetic.

get some 8kg Swift Springs front, and depending on the handling characteristics you're after, anywhere from 6 to 10kg rear.

I think the OP is not interested in a pure track car so the Eiback multi-pro 1 might be OK.

I would advise you to go incrementally: start with a rear swaybar, your car will handle very well with no compromise to commuting quality.

Unfortunately everything is being put on hold. Had to buy my plane tickets to Europe 6 months in advance, and also had to pay for the car, so that's $2500 gone (that was coilover money).

Fortunately though, I'm starting a new job on monday, so just have to save up and pay off my debt, then I'll buy them.

You have no idea how hard it is for me. I came from an R53 with 20k spent on it. Coilovers, Quaife diff, engine mods, tires, rims, brakes. Now I'm basically jammed with a stock car. I REALLY need those coilovers.
