Rear Suspension Bushing options
I wanted to install my H&R street coilovers on my R56, but to my understanding I need Rear Suspension Bushings.
I was looking at Helix R56 Rear Shock Bushings(aluminum) and Polyurethane Rear Suspension Bushings from Mini Madness.
Are these the same things that I need to install my coilovers with?
What are the pros and cons of aluminum or polyurethane?
Are they going to make noise over time?
I am also looking to install some aftermarket lower control arms in the rear.
Thanks in advance!

Not the same things...
the Al shock bushings are used to mate up the shock lower attachment point to the Al trailing arms on the 2nd gen Minis. The Madness rear control arm bushings go at the front end of the rear trailing arm. If it's a street car and you haven't changed the shocks, you don't need either.

If your H&R Street coilovers were originally for an R53, than you would need our rear bushings to make them fit your R56. I've never seen any of these particular bushings made of Polyurethane: I don't think you'd want to. This is just a replacement part for a specifically shaped metal flange that's on the stock R56s, and not a part that's designed to have 'give' on impact.
