which lowering springs are best on stock shocks n struts

hey guys i have an 09 MCS im going to be purchasing O.Z alegriatta wheels 16x7 with 205/50/R16 tires, for now i want to add springs so im trying to figure out which are best . i want about an inch, i know NM has springs that drop about 1.2" and i think H&R is about 1.4, only other option would be to just get the jcw suspension or if you can just get the springs. if i buy aftermarket down the road im looking at bilstien or koni sport shocks n struts, anyone have any info they can give me on a good spring, does anyone have the nm-eng springs?

I sell all of those springs, and I really recommend the NM-eng. springs. We've had several customers very happy with them.

After reading EVERY thread on this topic I decided to go with NM's and either koni yellows or bilstein shocks. I will have to pay to do the work and the overwhelming consensis is stock shocks with any lowering spring is a compromise. This has delayed the purchase of my wheels (17's just look wrong if the car isn't lowered) until I can budget for everything.

im getting 16x7 allegritta hlt's with 205 tires im going to purchase springs first then by summer ill replace the shocks and struts a piece at a time no rush to do it all at once, as for the stock shocks and struts with nm or anything thats an inch r under its not overkill so you wont destroy the oem parts as fast, if you were going like a 2" drop then yea you would have problems

I agree. Stock shocks and mild lowering springs aren't "bad". They just aren't ideal.
