Saying its cutting corners to not flash the ECU for the brakes implies a safety issue. All these fine vendors would not be selling BBKs to track rats if there were any issues in safety. Wheel speed sensors are nothing new on cars, ABS controllers have been pretty advanced since the mid '90s. Flash if its reasonably cheap, don't lose any sleep otherwise.

Not flashing the ECU is a safety issue.

All these fine vendors are just that, vendors who are in the business of making money.

MINI would not have a JCW Sport Brake reflash for the ECU if there was not a reason.

I paid $134.00 for the reflash. That's not an unreasonable price to pay for added safety.
