Is my Squeaking Normal?

Had all my mods done on monday going from stock to Milltek turbo back, Bilstein PSS10's, Helix Short Shift, Hotchkis Competition rear sway bar and control arms.

Car is great although maybe too low !!!

Picked up a nail somewhere and have to get my front runflat off for replacement or repair. Can't even get my trolley jack under so definately going to have to raise the ride height.

Got my OZ Ultraleggeras to go on with non runflat Contisport 3's.

The Bilsteins's are set midway at 5. Car handles great but I may lower the settings for road comfort.

Does seem to be some creaking from the rear. Not sure if it is from the springs or the extra stiffness of the sway bar.

Anyone else noticed this when first fitted. Is grease needed somewhere or a settling in period?

I will post up some pics once the new wheels are on and the car is clean

After two useless made in China low profile floor jacks failed, I bought an OTC. US made. It even gets under my Nephew's 328. If you have a few chunks on 2 x 6, you can use them as mini-ramps and get most floor jacks under a car.

To your noise problem. I gave so many rattles and creaks, I could not tell you what is what. I would guess the rear control arms. These are poly correct? Did they come with grease? Some newer ones like my H&R sway bar are Teflon lined and can run dry. Most require grease. The sway bar bushings and end links can creak too.

Also check the sway bar. On the stands, just try to move the wheel up and down with your hands or grab the end links and shake it.

I checked with a local alignment specialist who normally deals with Porsche's and they advised the following:

when the suspension was fitted, did they relax all the suspension bushes? By undoing them, then retighten them up at the new ride heights set. As this can cause creaking.. as the bushes are still in the old position and under load can creak!

When I got everything fitted this was on axle stands so I presume with no use of a ramp there is no load on the suspension like there would be with the wheels touching the ramp. So I presume if everything is tightened up before wheels are on and then there is nothing for the wheels to sit on due to teh axle stands hence no load then this could be the cause.

Going to get it checked tomorrow.
