h&r coilovers installed, the front driver side makes popping noises
hey guys, i just finished my install of the h&r coilovers with new K-Mac adjustable camber plates
after the install, the front driver side makes popping noises when i turns, as if the spring itself is bumping itself" maybe".
everything is tightened down with correct tq measure and the spring is also seated properly.
help!!!

Not a perfect fix but just to see where you stand with it spray ALOT of WD-40 at the upper and lower spring perches. Hard to get around it all but do the best you can.. The springs actually has alittle movement when turning and may be creating that popping spring noise.
That is assuming you checked to make sure that it is not hitting the inner fender!!!

agree - and at the risk of preaching to the wise, put a thick old towel or some other substantial materials over the wheel assembly before using the WD-40
then let it soak a bit
then clean up the excess as best you can
WD40 is not something I would want getting onto the rotors...
I've the H&R coil-overs with Webb plates, and there have been times when taking a fair bit of turn angle would produce a bit of complaint if the perches were not playing nicely...

I had the same problem. I had to remove the coilovers, and retorque the top strut nut onto the top perch / camber plate. I thought it was torqued enough, but got more leverage on the strut with it removed, held the inner nut with an allen socket wrench, and the outer nut with a socket and wrench and strained as hard as I could. I thought I would snap the allen socket wrench before anything else. Put it back in and not a pop or squeak.
