Alta 22mm RSB

I have been reading here about the RSB being the best "first" performance mod. I have also read about the squeak issues, I will be sure to wrap the bar in teflon tape. I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the Alta 22 mm RSB. This is my wife's car but I like to go out and drive it, sure beats that damn van. It does have a push/understeer issue and obviously this is the documented answer. I debated over getting the 19mm since it is her car but I am not even going to tell her I put that thing in there and I am hoping she won't notice the difference. Planning on the softest setting. If I ever get on a track or AutoX I can change that. I have some solid karting experience (ICC) so I am hoping to see a nice improvement.

I also got the hot-side pipe and BOV spring since I was ordering stuff. Hope this all goes smoothly.

the sway bar is a great first upgrade and for sure helps with the understeer. it will just give the mini even moar go kart handling.

Would you suggest getting the rear strut bar before upgrading the shocks/springs?

If. You mean rear sway bar, the answer is yes. My 2011 MCS has base suspension and H Sport 19mm rsb. It is now entertaining and balanced enough to allow me time to collect the rest of the suspension mods at my liesure.

Thanks. I checked NM Engineering's RSB out on their website but when i put 2011 for my MCS on their website, the RSB did not show up for compatibility. Does anyone know if the 2011 MCS is compatible with the NM Engineering's 22mm rear sway bar before i jump on it? Also is the install fairly straightforward?

Parts are in

My order from Alta came quickly. I finally had time to install everything. The 22mm RSB was fairly straight forward. The BOV Spring was easy once you got to it, those three allen cap bolts were a pain. The Hot side pipe was smooth but you have to jack the car up and get to it from the bottom.

I really like the way the RSB allows you to accelerate in the corner without creating understeer. The BOV Spring helps a bit but I think you need a Dyno to feel the hotside pipe, but I like the look.
