Got to say the build quality on all the parts, especially the coil overs look excellent. Will post some pictures of install and post install but wanted to inspire you guys to treat your MINI to some summer toys.

The blue ones are the "Street" version of their coilovers. They have 7kg in the front and 8kg in the rear.

The red ones are their "Race" version with 8in the front and 6 in the rear.

I'm really interested to how they ride. Should be awesome dude!

They only sell one type of coilovers for our car and it is the euro street version. They don't come in red anymore like they used too. I ordered mine from Way. The springs were switched to 7k a few years back and the red became green for the euro cars. This is what I was told but I may have gotten bad info, seems foolish they would use different colors if they only change is a spring rate.

Anyway they go on tomorrow and I can't wait!

That totally makes sense. I haven't gotten mine yet so I don't know what color they are going to be but when i talked to the guy from megan he told me that I wasnt getting ex streets. Aw well, I guess we'll see what comes in the mail, Im not really too worried about what the spring rates are going to be because I was planning on switching them out w/ some swift springs anyways.

Good luck on your install how low are you planning on going?

Also I dont think any have 8k in the rear, have a stiffer rear spring than front would be odd.

Yes the pic on my website is old, I was going to take a pic of these before shipping them out, but ran out of time.

Well finally got them on....Install would have been a breeze if I the pinch bolts on the front didn't shear off. Took 10 hours to drill out both sides and the install took maybe 3-4 hours to do all of it.

Initial impressions - everything was well worth it. Will no better after it settles out and I can get the alignment dialed in.

If you do end up shearing the pinch bolts I recommend gasoline and a match and torch the car (kidding of course but anticipate a nightmare of drilling time and effort). Honeslty if it wasn't my daily driver and I had some time i would have ordered used knuckles from Way for $75 bucks and just replaced the knuckles. I think I spent more than that on drill bits, cutting oil and broken tools..not to mention the ridiculous time and effort it takes to drill the bolts out.
