Chirping/Squeaking noise after Koni fsd install

Hey all,

About a month ago I installed new Koni fsd's on my 05 mcsc. I used the stock springs and reused the mount plates, rubber stops and spring seats and pads.

I don't remember having a squeaking noise before the change, but I definitely have one now. The chirping/squeaking noise is there when I push down on the right rear of the car. The chirp is there when the car is on or off, and it's really bad when driving.

I used lubricant and sprayed the heck out of the upper mount, all the bushings, the bumper area, lower strut area, you name it the chirp is still there.

Here is a YouTube video of the sound:

Does anyone have ideas? Been trying to figure this out for a week now. Thanks!

Just spraying lube on the bushings won't necessarily get the job done. Could be the sway bar bushings too. Pull the sway bar bushings off and hand grease them inside and out. They are split so they'll come off and go back on easily.

I got FSD's a couple of weeks ago and really like them. A thicker sway bar was added too.

Thanks, I'm actually going to pull off the strut now and grease up the bushings. Any particular brand of grease I should use?

Decided to pull off all 4 struts last night and greased everything up with some Lucas xtra heavy duty grease.... everything is all quiet again.

fsd

--I installed the front fsd struts on my mcsa but when i went to compare the fsd rears with my stock rears the only thing holding that fsd strut in place is a thin c ring. I did not like that and did not install it.

I am looking for a local suspension shop to transplant the internals on the fsd to my stock rear struts.

But I don't experience that noise at all with only front fsd struts mounted.
