Clicking Sound - HSport Control Arm?

2012 MCS with about 7k miles. At around 1k miles I put on NM Engineering Springs (stock shocks) and HSport control arms. Had them installed by a certified BMW tech (guy started his own shop after working at BMW for 20 years) back home when visiting for the holidays. Had them do the alignment at the same time.

6k miles have past and not one problem. Took my car into the dealership (Mini SF) last thursday for an oil change. Ever since I picked it up, it makes this loud clicking sound when starting and stopping. Sounds like a suspensions noise from the Rear Drivers side.

Took it to the dealership today and they looked at it. They said the springs are perched properly, sway bar bushings are fine. The only thing they could suggest is that maybe the HSport control arm i installed was not lubricated properly and having issues? They then said it wasn't their part so I would need to take it to a specialty shop to have them look at it (I figured they would say that).

Question is - Anyone ever experience a similar issue? Is there special greasing that needs to happen to the HSport control arm?

Thanks in advance!

There is a grease fitting on each end of the h-sport rear control arm. They need to be lubricated with a lithium grease from time to time. I would suspect a squeaking noise not a click though. Either way, the old grease can get washed out and you need to re-grease when that happens.

Thanks Shane. Since I didn't install them this question hopefully isn't stupid - Can I grease them from under the car or do I need to unbolt them to fully grease them?
