coilover options??

so I'm trying to decide which coilovers to go with.

The r56 cooper is my daily driver/cruiser and I'm planning on slamming so I need coilovers that really go low. I was thinking Vmaxx but not sure I trust their quality.

thoughts guys??

Dont go with Vmaxx...I purchased a set in 4/2012 busted by 5/2012 and they never gave me my money back..no response from company...poor service all around.

spend an additional 200.00 and get a better set and dont forgot drop links for front sway bar and spacers. they are a must!

KW V1's. Love mine. I can barely fit one finger in the fender gap on the highest setting.

ya I think I will go with the V1's.

so if I'm doing a 2.5+ drop I'll need front drop links? anything else required?

Nothing until you get above 2k. But why anyway, if you are going to lower it that much then ride quality and performance are kind of out the window. Adjustable dampening isn't going to do much for you.

I have had good luck and great service with Vmaxx- just remember new adjustable end links or you will get serious clunking (this goes for any coilovers if you go really low, sway bar hitting body of the car)

The Vmaxx have been redesigned. They no longer require different endlinks: http://www.motoringunderground.com/f...ad.php?t=23356

Yes! KW V2! These are rebound adjustable, not compression.

If you are slamming your car you are taking the suspension out of its 1/3 optimum placement(if you set them up correctly).
