Ordered h&r street perfm coilovers and rear control arms

Waiting for them to be delivered sometime next week. Anyone else have these on their R56? How are they?

It's my everyday car and weekend canyon fun... Hopefully i won't be disappointed with these. $1,030 for the coilovers and $260 for the rear arms.

I'd love to hear any input, good or bad. Also.. I decided to go with coilovers instead of a cup kit mainly becuase i wanted to dial the rear down, close to even with the front.

I ran those for 9 seasons on my STX Works R53 and found them to be very good. No maintenance problems and competitive performance.

Cheers,

Charlie

I have just installed the H&R rss some people say they are too harsh but I beg to differ.
The street kit should be a tade softer and more compliant to road imperfections. If you track your car I would suggest you have have a look at the rss. The price difference is about 200-400 depending where you go.

I have street... Ride quality is good. Definitely a good buy for that but not If you want stance. I have noticeable wheel gap in the front which is simply annoying. I enjoy the stiffness but had ultra lows previously in a Volkswagen and feel that the streets have a bit more travel in the rear which has them rubbing on major dips . overall excellent quality for track imo but leaves a lot to be desired for looks depending on your interest in low. I have an R53

Lol wow that is ultra low. Did the front lip touch the ground when you get on the curbs a bit during cornering ? Just wondering. I will be hitting Mont Tremblant and a few other tracks this summer.
One other thing I noticed in your picture Charlie as well as on my car is that the front looks lower then the back always slightly. Is that normal or by design of the car.

This car was only on the track once, and has not tried curb climbing.

The rake is deliberate.

This is a trick shot though, as you'll notice I am turning right so the weight is on the near side.

Cheers,

Charlie
