Front Sway Bar Removal??

I have upgraded my rear sway bar to a 19mm bar.
I've been hearing a lot to remove my front sway bar for better corner in or handling of some sort? Anyone heard of this or have done it?

How much track time do you have ? If you disconnect that front bar you better have some VERY fast hands to catch the rear end coming around. If you want to give it a try just undo one end of the bar and find a empty parking lot to experiment.

Bad idea to remove the front bar, car will be very twitchy and try to swap ends. Its good advice to remove the endlinks for a trial. If you want the car to rotate more, you should go to a bigger rear bar. I assume that you are full stiff on your 19mm bar?

another thing to consider, despite having the improved rotation, is the loss of front end grip due to more body roll and the resulting roll induced camber loss. If faster lap times are your thing then maximizing front end grip should be a priority. Removing your front bar (unless you have massive front spring rates) is not the way to do it.

Doing this for track driving seems like a very very bad idea. Maybe if you had mega huge ***** for Auto-X use.
