Sway bar bushing replacement

Is it possible to replace them without dropping the sub frame?

I'm in the process of dropping my subframe to do Control arm bushings, sway bar bushings and ball joints.

When I was looking at the sway bar bushings last night it looked like it might be possible. Its tight in there though.

Yeah I know its tight. I'm hoping to get away with just loosening the clamp and slide old off then the new on. I should have just went ahead and tried while I did the control arm bushings but since I didn't drop the sub frame to do them I figured another day sounds good. lol

The forward bolt on the sway bar bushing is on REAL tight. I'm soaking it with pb blaster for a couple days and will attempt again. There isn't a lot of room for a breaker bar but my 18mm wrench with another wrench hooked on the end to give more leverage wouldn't budge it.

Sway bar bushings

If you are talking about the rear, yes, you can replace the bushings without dropping the subframe..tight and a little fiddly but just did it on a 2003 S
