SuspensionSprings, struts, coilovers, sway-bars, camber plates, and all other modifications to suspension components for Cooper (R50), Cabrio (R52), and Cooper S (R53) MINIs.
I am looking at the new Moss Mini catalog (just got it today). On page 19 they show a set of Apex springs. 'They'll lower your Mini 30mm, without the harsh ride you get from inferior lowering springs.' They cost only $129.95.
Does anyone have any experience with these particular springs? They seem to be what I want because I don't want my ride any harsher than the comfortable level it is at now.
After installing these, or other, springs, will there be any issues that an alignment won't take care of? Because the car is sitting lower?
I suggest an evening of searching & reading the "performance mods :: suspension" forum, there's tons of options, all depends on your ride preferences...

justintime - i run megan coilovers and camber plates. they were fairly inexpensive and work great. you might wanna go with something else if your lookin for a serious track set up but, other wise i feel that megans are the best bang for the buck as far as coilovers are conserned.
Different tires and wheels, gonna try a set of 16's. (I wanna see how low I can get with these new coils, the 17's are tearing up my wheel well arches)
