SuspensionSprings, struts, coilovers, sway-bars, camber plates, and all other modifications to suspension components for Cooper (R50), Cabrio (R52), and Cooper S (R53) MINIs.
Thats what I have and I really like it, I wasnt so happy with it when I have H&R springs but now that I have coilovers and can adjust the height
One of our locals has 215/45-17s, and he's running the JCW suspension. His car sits pretty much like Cooldaddy's. I'm jealous - my JCW suspension doesn't sit anything like it. I've got an earlier car, though. His is an '05.
I find that hard to believe... even on an 05 the JCW springs don't drop the car more than 0.5" or so as seen on may cars here on NAM... my car is dropped at least 1.5"... anyway, good for him I guess

I thought it was kinda odd, too. His car looks almost like it's got M7s in it. He said he's just got the JCW. I've seen other JCW suspended '05s, and they don't sit like his. He's running 215/45-17s, but I doubt the extra 4.5 mm tire radius would make that drastic a change in the tire/fender gap. Oh well.
Come to think of it, I did peer through the wheels to see if he had coilovers, and yeah, it's just regular struts with the red springs.
here is some while cornering....on H-sports. Have KWv1 before, blew them up, traded the housings for springs...could not be happier Tires are 215-40-17.

wait a minute...so you had V1 KW's and they blew? From what? Racing? Being too low? Why did they blow, i heard they were pretty good quality...
Were they warrantied? What do you mean you traded the housing for springs?
Reason i ask all this, i have KW's coming and this kind of scares me a little...
I've read a lot of good things about them, fill me in on why they blew

I have had mine for 30k miles and 7 track weekends without any problems ... they have performed wonderfully. Mine are an older european version with linear springs front/rear, but I would expect the new ones to perform equally as well.
i took these last night, the car is an 04 and belongs to Michael, one of my buddies. Lowered on Koni Coilovers. It was slammed, for drivability reasons he raised it up a little. But still, looks nice and tucked....

That's not slammed???? Looks great, probably better than when it was lower.
