Honestly I'm not a fan of the cabrio....but this ranks up there with one of the best MINI's I've ever seen! That's just drop dead gorgeous man. Well done!!!!!!

Thanks everyone I really appreciate the compliments!

I too was unsure of the cabrio when I bought it, this is my first convertible. I have to tell you that I have not been disappointed. Having the option to drop the top has been a great experience hell, this whole Mini thing has been a great experience!

Thanks again for the kind words!

If it was a bit lower in the front it'll be perfect.. still got a finger gap between
But i guess if you get it with the old set of springs then it'll be low enough.. thinking of switching to those myself

Well i decided to use the new springs that H&R provided cuz supposingly the old ones were too low..
Guess i should've just used the old set and then my car will be slammed
Maybe i'll put in the lower set if i have time/ if i can unbolt the top nut

I thought the Moss Mini or Mini Mania had them. I know they only fit the 2002 models, and only some of them on that note. Probably run cheap since they don't make them anymore iirc??

I must admit, I thought that I would encounter many more difficult situations due to clearance issues, but so far, very few. Even then, the extra attention/care I must give due to the height, is far outweighed by the look it achieves, IMHO.

Some updated pics. TSW springs, Ireland Adjustable Camber Plates, H Sport 19mm rear sway bar and H Sport adjustable lower rear control arms as far as suspension mods.

Yeah, I was concerned about that too. I have to go over about 5 sets of speed bumps on my way too work so I couldn't go too crazy with my drop. In stock form, my MCS looked like it had been "lifted". I just couldn't live with it. I decided to go the conservative route and got some AC Schnitzer springs that only dropped it an inch. I would have liked to go lower, but I think it looks at least respectable now. I haven't had any scraping issues whatsoever and am satisfied with the stance.

You shouldn't have too many problems if you get a linear spring such as TSW that only drops you an inch give or take.

Just a suggestion.

Anthony
