BS standard are now Behive linear fronts and linear rears
They actually have behive rears and even progressive for some applications.
Swift has many more combinations to choose from and a great name.
The BCs that I hav ebeen exposed to have always been Comp and rebound adjustable
If you were really "over sprung" it may not feel like a lot was being adjusted but it was .
"big oversteer guy" does that mean you like to induce it and set up that way ...or have it and that is the issue to get rid of it ???

That won't help since the wheel moves with the strut so he will still have the same clearance issue. My BC's have gotten really rough ever since I installed them. They are brake braking. I either will try to raise them a bit and see how that feels, or buy swift springs with 6 or 7k springs in front and 5k in the rear.

BC CO Rear Damper Adjustment
Do the extenders go over the "short *****" or do they replace them?
If they replace them, what kind of connection do they make to the damper?
Hex (allen)?
I currently have Koni Yellows, and have drilled ~5/8" hole in the frame rail to access the adjustment, through the side panel. I'd like to be able do the same thing with the BC's.
If it's not a hex, could someone describe it or maybe take a close-up pic of one without the **** or extender installed.
TIA,
chuckt

They extenders do go over the knurled adjuster and have a set screw.
The 5/8 hole will not be big enough as the extenders do move in an arc as the suspensiong moves up and down.

I need the help of the experts here. Since the new swift springs are on their way I have to decided to finished the suspenssion job I started a few months ago. So one of the things I have to do is what COR BLMY has insisted to me at his post below in order to correct one of my current problems. But looking at the picture I think I need some help on how to implement it. My setup now is like in this picture
So the top hut of the coilover touches the rubber of the top mount. How could I put a spacer between there? Will it work and what kind of material should it be? What if I put a a spacer at the shaft of the rod before placing the top hut? At the shaft of the rod there is a stop where the top hut is placed and then the top mount comes on top of that. If I extend the stop where the top hut is placed wouldn't this decrease the distance from the top mount to the extender and give me the clearance I need in order to correct my problem? Will this work or it will cause some problem like bottoms out the car easier?

coopergti ... only working off the info you supplied....
You said 8 / 8 ....?
You emailed me and included a photo .. of the units you were purchasing ...I said they were the OLD style and had NO rear top mountts...?
The Spacer goes on the SHAFT of the rod before placing the top mount.
The green shows the top mount ...the spacer (between green indicated top plate and top hat) allows for the clearance needed.

I am getting a really weird sound coming from my front/driverside coilover. It sounds like a "springy" sound like dah-OINGG! I've heard clunking and banging sounds from cars before, but I've never heard a loose spring "DOY-ING" sound. Anyone got this problem? It especially happens after parking for a bit and then moving the car, or sometimes, when I go up a driveway...
Other than that, car still feels stable and tight on turns. Makes no noise at all on the freeway or normal street driving.
