shooler,

Those are great looking wheels (NICE MINI Too!!!!). Any trouble with tire rub? Any spacers or offset problems? Looks like enough room for larger brakes. How much did those cost? Easy to get?? Maybe the Tire Rack?

pimpedout97x,

If you have stock brakes you should be fine. If you have aftermarket brakes like Brembo or Wilwood you should verify that with your wheel company before. If you are considering upgrading your brakes you should check as well. The wheel manufacturers should know which brakes will fit in their wheels.

I felt the anchors that came on the MINI have an individual look, just didn't like the silver. See my MOTD 2007 album/gallery

I have no rubbing issues anywhere. I have an effective offset of 37mm (wheels are 42 with H&R 5mm spacers). There is enough room for larger brakes, and I got them from Tire Rack. These used to be silver wheels, but had them powder coated black.

I was slammed on 18s, and had a little rubbing. But I was also scraping the bottom on walmart speedbumps at 1mph. Lifted 1/3" from there, and no issues rubbing on Toyo Proxes4. Wee bit of rubbing when I got Pzero Neros which has about 1/3 more sidewall despite being the same overall height.

I believe I have a 40-50mm offset.

That's about the way it goes. I usually do not treat the rubber because it detracts from the wheels.

Somewhere in another thread I explained my process of painting the OEM's. I did it myself over the winter in 2005.

The other thread was at https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=67081.

Good luck.

Just had to add a photo of ToBFree to be consistent with the rest of you!

Guys, these are new rims coming out from O.Z. Racing soon. They are already out in 5x pattern, 4x100 (17" is already out) should be coming out this month (18")...these rims are SICK imo!!!

You need brakes to fill them though!
-Cody

*(And Yes, I DO know that Alex has posted about them in another thread)*

Are those stock tires? Beefy looking tread. And is it just me, or do the R56's sit REALLY high? Looking at some of these pics makes me very happy I finally decided to lower my car.

TJM they are not the stock tires but same size with the stock tires. Yes the car is very high and I`m expecting my new H&R coilovers to lower it.
