Ditching Runflats, my new choice here!
I have a red 06 MCS convertible with the runflats.
I plan to ditch the runflats and go for
17x7 ASA AR1 Black w/Mach Lip
&
215/45ZR-17 Kumho Ecsta ASX
The wheels are 17x7, Wheel Offset: +42mm, 20.7 lb.
I have a stock suspension, should I expect any rubbing or any issues, and did I make a good tire choice, or should I go with 205/45-17 tires? The reason I chose 215 was because of more tire choices on TireRack.com. I do not race or drive the car hard, it is a daily driver. Traction and driveability is important to me.
Also, TireRack offers free mounting and balancing before they ship them, should I take them up on this offer? Thanks!

you may or may not rub with the 215/45/17's...really depends on the
shoulder design of the tire.
i run 205/50/16 GS-D3's which are much wider than your typical 215/45's
but don't rub at all +42 16x7.5" width wheel lowered about 1" on h-sports.
it's wider due to the shoulder design and the fact that im running 7.5" width
wheels.
so give it a shot. even if you do rub it will be so minor that you can do
a quick dremel action on your rear arch.
ask alex about the how-to. he (or maybe it was minihune) had a nice
write up somewhere.

As long as you don't lower, you should be good, I know some other people with 42 BS on 215 45. Even with heavy loads in the boot, they still do not have any trouble.
Great choice on the tyre wheel combo, those should look great! And yes, I would say let Tirerack put them on, then all you have to do is bolt them on when they come home.
