Where Can I Get Lug Nuts???

Where can I get some good lug nuts or screws (whatever they are called on a MINI)? I got some chrome ones with my new wheels & they are already starting to rust so I need to get some made of something that will not rust but have no idea where to look. I have also got to call the wheel place to get the size as the OEM lugs were too big for my wheels. Can anybody recommend a website with a nice selection?

Thanks

So you need somewhat of a "tuner" lug bolt...?

I've never had a problem with Pilo, but there are a couple threads on here to the contrary.

Thanks for the link Partsman, I dunno what I need. I am going to call wheelsnext & get the dimensions. It was like the OEM bolts were too big in diameter to go in the wheel holes so they sent me smaller ones.

i usually just use the lugs from tirerack and replace them when they
rust. usually takes a good few years or so of use before they rust. they
shouldn't easily rust if you use the right tools and be careful not to
break the plating on them.

on my MCS, i use the factory black lug bolts. been using the same
ones that came with the car almost 5yrs ago.

Why change them? Now they match your rotor hats...

im not sure Alex is working today cause i sent him an email earlier
this morning about my G's new tires and no response (he's usually
pretty quick), but send him an email and im sure
he can get you new lugs at a great price.

I recently was looking for some for the S lites I bought, I found chrome ones at the neighborhood high end wheel store for $3 each. Size is 12 X 1.5
These seem well made, I think the chrome will last just fine. You could also get one of those sockets that has the insert, so you don't damage the chrome when you take them on and off.

My MINI dealer wanted $10 each for the black ones!

Thanks guys for all your help & don't get me started on my rusty Brembo rotors grrrrrrrrrr

I called the wheelsnext guy & he said I need 12X1.5 tuner lug bolts. Mine are only 1-1/2 months old but they are the kind with an indent in the center so water sits & rust forms in there. I need to get some that have the flat top & hopefully that will solve my problem. The wheelguy recommended this site if anybody else is looking
