You corded (wore down the rubber to the cords of the tire -Very bad)
the inner front edges of your tires.
Many reasons for this-
Bad alignment- check toe settings. Is it on both front tires?
Too much negative front camber- not likely
Defect in the tire- not likely if both front inner edges are like this.
Just alot of wear and worn to cords- looks like the rest of the tread is gone
You had the tires mounted with the worn side out but then remounted the tires to get more use out of them- called flipping tires- I did this on my current tires- worked well since outer edges get worn in the front so I put the right front tire on the left front wheel and vice versa, now my fresh tread is on the outer edges.

Bad alignment

Check camber angle or toe angle on that side but with alignment just get everything set to factory specs.

My Pirelli run flats are doing the same thing...inside both rear tires. I will be getting them replaced next month. The rest of the tread on them is around 25-30%. Wish I hadnt already replaced the front with new Pirelli runflats. I dont think I'll make that mistake again. Hey, anyone out there know what the factory specs are on alignments, or can push me in the right direction to finding it. Thanks in advance!
