R56 wheel question

Question for wheel guys

would this fit on a R56?

19 x 8.5" in the front
19 x 9.5" in the back
offset 38 for both?

is this an impossibility?
thanks in advance

The MINI was designed for 17x7" with +48mm offset.

You'd have to test fit it. Tirerack doesn't sell any 19" wheels to fit the MINI and certainly not as wide as you suggest.

They do list 20x7.5" rims with +42mm offset using 225/30-20 tires.

You have a bunch of potential problems-
The rims are wider than stock and you can rub against suspension parts. If you upgrade suspension and add front camber plates and rear lower adjustable control arms you might be able to tweak the alignment some to get things to maybe fit.

Rear trailing arm is a big factor if you don't have enough favorable wheel offset in the rear. With a wider rim maybe more like +30 or +32mm rather than +38mm which seems far too little for a 9.5" wide rim. It might be close since you have a 19" diameter rim which may clear that portion of the trailing arm compared to a smaller rim.

Tires might not fit- don't go too wide and most like they will stick out sideways from your MINI. I have 15x8 rims and +36mm offest with 225/45-15 tires and they stick out wider than the fenders but the tire diameter is smaller than stock so I don't get tires rubbing on the wheel arches.

To be more practical you should be looking at fender wheel arch flares. If you run with exposed tires and hit something you can damage your rims.

Seek the advice of a good tire shop and experienced mechanic.
