Really?
I typed "stock wheel offset" in the search function and came up with a bunch of threads.

Check the subject matter and post in the most appropriate forum when possible.
First when shopping check out tirerack.com or any of the vendors that sell wheels for the MINI and you will find 17" wheels of the correct size bolt pattern and offset.
To find the right wheels for you then you need to decide-
What suspension will you be using- stock or lowered- if so how much.
What tires are you going to match with the 17" wheels?
There are many discussions about what size wheels to use given different suspension upgrades or even with stock suspension.
17x7 to 17x8" is fine.
4x100 bolt pattern
Wheel offset about +38 to +48mm if using stock suspension
About +42 to +48mm is using lowered suspension (1" lower)
Watch out for clearance when using any big brake kit.
MINI hub bore is 56.1mm. Often aftermarket wheels use larger centerbore so centering rings are needed to make the wheels fit hubcentric (it's recommended). Some vendors provide the rings while others do not.
1010tires.com sells the rings in plastic or metal.
