Torque of bolt that holds on brake disc?

After reading the threads saying how the bolt that holds the brake disc on gets stuck, I figured I'd do a bit of preventative maintenance. During my next tire rotation, I'll take that bolt out, clean it and put it back in with anti-seize. So although it probably isn't really important, I thought I'd ask what the torque should be on that bolt.

Thanks in advance.

Just enough to hold the rotor in place.

The only reason the bolt is there is to stop the rotor from rotating and blocking the holes to the threads in the hub on its trip down the production line. The bolt does nothing, ant is not even needed, so if your going to check it, just make sure its tight.

Many cars have rotors that are held on by the wheels. I think Rick is onto something here.

Yup, that bolt serves zero structural purpose, I've heard that you can run without them if you choose

Yeah its useless for structure just an assembly thing. I changed brakes on an RSX and honda used a philips screw for that. To get it off an impact drive was a must. Not sure about the mini, but with that car the rotors are tappered and once you set the wheels on tight and they go the through a temperature cycle theyll be stuck enough and the bolt is not needed even when you take the wheels off.
