gram lights 57 pro replicas?

anyone know of any cheaper replicas of the Gram lights 57 pro wheels that will fit a MCS? I love the look of these wheels but their just too damn expensive and I also hear that there are "soft" wheels that could dent easily. I have many similar wheels, but nothing that looks really close to them.. i guess you pay all that extra $$ for the fine detail.. so far i think the Kosei K3 are the closest to it.. but i hear that Kosei's quality is not that great esp if there are alot of pot holes.. any help would be appreciated!

i'd check with wheemax for those...

they'll all bend if you hit a pothole with them. just get a cheap set
and buy a few spares, i guess.

Anytime you have relatively light wheels you have to worry about damage from road hazzards and potholes.

Kosei K3 are good wheels and nothing will be bullet proof to damage.
Alot can depend on what size rim and tire you choose. The lower the sidewall such as 45 series tires and 17" rims the more likely you'll risk damage from potholes.

Using rims that are 15" and tires that are 205/55-15 or 16" rims and 205/55-16 tires you can be at less risk but still get the wheel design you want.

rota wheels make similar designs to the gram light 57 pros.

The Attack comes in 15x6.5 with +40mm offset many finishes
about $450 a set of four

Or in 17x7.5" +48 mm offset 56.1mm hubbore to fit the MINI
in many finishes about $650 per set of four

The Flight comes in 15x6.5" with +40mm offset
8x100/114 bolt pattern, $470 per set of four in many finishes

By comparison-
Gramlight 57C $284 each closeout
17x7.5" +40mm offset 18 lbs each, gravity cast alloy

or Kosei K3 $199 each silver or gold finish, +42mm offset 16.8 lbs
17x7" (Back ordered)

Other 5 spoke rims
ASA JH8
Enkei Racing RP03
Kazera KZ-A and KZ-B
Motegi Track Tracklite
O.Z. Hydra and Record

whoa! thanks for that load of info on the different types of wheels.. the Enkei Racing rp03 dont look that bad after having a closer look.. esp the special coated one.. but i think i want a 5 spoke with a more curve to the spokes.. the attack seem nice.. but i think the spokes are too thin but i like how it curves.. hard to picture it on a mini.. heres an attached pic i stole from the "show me your wheels" section.. basicly this is what i want to achieve.. but with cheaper wheels of course and i think the Kosei K3 are the closest lookin to it..do you agree?.. i dunno whos pic this is.. but i do love the look.. so clean.. anyhow if i can't get that look maybe better if i just stick with rota subzeros gunmetal since i can prob get a good deal on them.. what do you think?

how about these used volks for $900 with GS-D3's? sounds like a deal
if you cant afford a new set.

I like the slightly more subtle inward curve of the spokes on the TSW personally so I'd vote for that one. My rims of choice when I get my MCS though is a toss up between the Motegi Traklite 1.0 in flat black or the SSR Type C.

ssr type c are pretty nice.. but hella pricey.. i also really like the curve on the spokes.. but not sure if hyper black goes well with a black car and the deeper lip will make 17" look smaller.. K3s dont have the curve but silver compliments the black and does not have a big lip which makes the wheel look bigger.. im stuck right in between.. i found this pic of a black car with the tsw and looks pretty good but cannot find any cars with the K3's
