Center rings for CenterLine RPM 17x7 R56?
Anyone know where I could get center rings to fit an R56 MCS and CenterLine RPM 17x7 wheels? I've had them spin ballanced at two different places, but they still vibrate. Both places tell me I need center rings. CenterLine says they are "lug-centric", don't need center rings, and they don't make center rings for them.

My local DT in Boulder said getting the rings in metal or composite was not a problem but could take some time on the order cycle.
Try again.

I bought the wheels direct from CenterLine. When I called them, after the first tire place wanted center rings, The CenterLine guy said they don't make them because the wheels are "lug-centric".
I guess I'll call a Discount Tire store in the Monterey/Salinas area when I return home at the end of the week. I wasn't too impressed with the customer service at the Santa Monica store.
Or, perhaps I'll call CenterLine again on Monday.

Robin, WIth the correct specs that nparker posted, DT should be able to help you. My local store was able to order the correct set for me on a prior fitment issue. They have a great big book of centering rings. And for sure if DT could do it for me, certainly Tirerack should be able to find you a set if your local store isn't as helpful.
Best of luck. It must be a pita to have nice wheels/tires that won't balance.

I just had my factory wheels off for lowering. The factory wheel appears to be both hub and bolt centric. All my Porsches have been both, as have my BMWs. A belt and suspenders kind of thing...
Worst case would be a wheel or tire issue, but if they balance off the car, it would make me think that the problem is the lack of centering rings.
YMMV

Their web page doesn't list CenterLine, and they don't have the R56 listed in the car selection. The only 2007 MINI is the convertible, which is an older model.

Centerline won't be able to help you. Call Discount Tire Direct at 1-800-589-6789. Tell them you need aluminum hub-centeric rings for a 72.0mm - 56.1mm. They'll be able to get them for you. I got mine in 3 days. I put anti-freeze compund on the rings before I stuck them into the wheels. This way they do not "bond" together over time.

Rings can be plastic (lighter but less durable to heat as on the track) or aluminum (durable but costs $10 more and is heavier).

For street use only the plastic rings are OK. I have melted plastic rings at the track. Took alot of effort to remove the rings from the wheel hub. A big channel lock wrench might work. Anti-seize is good.
