Flat tire Slime

Flat tire Slime
I have a "03" Mini cooper with a borla ehaust twin tip. (this is why I cannot carry a spare). I bought a Mini Mania kit for flat tires that contained a compressor, and "slime". My question is am I able to use the slime with tire flat sensors? I am sure that I am not going to contaminate those sensors. Has anyone tried this?

The "slime" won't affect the sensors. The flat-tire monitoring system that MINI uses only senses the speed of the wheel and compares the speed to that of the wheel on the opposite side of the car. (In other words, it compares the front-left wheel to the front-right wheel, and the rear-left wheel to the rear-right wheel).
If one wheel is spinning significantly faster than its "mate", the computer figures that the faster wheel is going flat (it's turning faster because its diameter has been reduced from pressure loss), and it gives you the warning light.
None of the sensors are actually part of the wheel, which is why MINI owners can easily switch to aftermarket wheels without losing the flat-tire monitoring feature.
