I am looking to get some new rims for my AB R56 MCS and needed some input if possible. I have been looking at the R105 rim in burnished/black finish as my rim of choice but seeing black as the other choice and seeing other brands of rims in black or other dark colors I am torn at this point.

I have read all the threads on rims and colors however there are not too many pics of my color with black or if it would be too much black since I am all black exterior/interior.

If anyone could post a pic or link to a pic of an AB or CB MINI with black rims that ould be great. Any thoughts on types of rims? I am not looking for a race rim but a light rim would be fine as well as a OEM weight rim too.

Can't post a pic, but if you decide to dump one or all of your R98's, let me know! As you can see, I'm also in SoCal.

FWIW - I don't think it's too much black considering your chosen color path already. I'm not a big fan of all black personally, but I have to admit there are some pretty sick all-black Minis in the "Show Me Your Wheels" thread (see Dopamine's, if I recall the name correctly).

 

i would keep those wheels, use larger sidewalls (yes, the circumference
will be bigger), get those arches painted, and lower it 1.5".

well, i wouldn't cause i dont own a R56, but IF i did...
