Either way, I can't wait to see them on your MINI!
They are fuctional, a true two piece rim. Bolts are titanium and require a 12 point or triple square tool, 8mm I think. Bolts are super tight and have blue loctite best to use an air impact to remove. Once bolts are out the center just lifts out. Now as for reinstalling and retorquing.... didn't get that far.
Sorry for the thread heist..

Just as easy as disassembly on a 2-piece wheel, just bolt up and go. On a 3-pc wheel you gotta silicone the gap where the lip meets the inner barrel. Improper seal there and you'll be leaking are like a ****..

We have the Webspokes on both of our cars, and I'm pretty sure the bolts are stainless steel and not titanium. Titanium fasteners have a very distinct finish that's more grey than stainless steel.

Plus, there's no point in using titanium bolts on a 21-pound wheel anyway, considering how much more expensive titanium fasteners are compared to stainless steel.

super tight eh? That's not like BBS...they usually torque to around 12 lb/ft....atleast that's what they do on the multi-piece BBS wheels that I'm familiar with.

Are you gonna be using some new bolts? It's not recommended that you use the old bolts again once they've been torqued....especially if you've had to use air impact.

No I am not going to use new bolts, I spoke with someone (at a wheel company) that said that was the case with the older multi-piece wheels. He said now that they are using titanium bolts there is much less fatigue when the bolts are reused and they are ok, to reuse.

Air ratchet, my bad I said impact. Once the bolts were broke loose the blue
thread locker made them "snug" all the way out.

Rivits?

Can't wait to see pictures with those wheels on your car!

If the wheel bolts really *are* titanium, then that's the single biggest effin' waste of money I've ever heard of. Have you priced titanium fasteners compared to stainless steel, even in bulk quantities? No wonder my Webspokes were $500 over the cost of the "regular" 17" sport wheels - most of that would be in the fasteners. All to save what - two pounds? - on a wheel that *still* weighs 21 pounds.

Very nice. Keeping the other factory bits chrome really pulls it off. Now just lower it a little.

BTW, I line up my center caps with the valve stems too.

I do, too, but every time I have a tire changed/fixed, they mess 'em up.

*heavy OCD sigh...*

Passat: The wheels look good, but you have some seriously bigger problems! Your house and neighborhood are on a very precarious angle--I'd think that things must fall off shelves, and water doesn't flow properly. All of your photos reveal the same problem. Get out of that place, dood, and find somewhere that's flat and safe!
