High performance street tire recommendation

I have 10,000 miles on my Yokohama AVS ES-100 205/45 17 tires. The wet and dry handling is fair to good but the tires are noisy as #*@#. I am looking for a high performance street tire replacement. I have a 2005 MCS with basic mods (15%, CAI, MTH, Milltek, H-sport rear sway, Koni FSD/H-sport springs) and enjoy spirited street driving. My budget is $150+/- per tire. Any recommendations - Thanks!

Are you looking to stick with the same size tire size? What kind of rims do you have?

GS-D3's. they get a little noisy when they're worn close to 50%, but
not as loud as S03's.

I don't think they are available in 205/45 17.

Get them in 215/45 17. They will fit a 17x7 wheel.

Yokohama AVS ES100s are not known for being quiet. It is an Ultra High Performance Summer tire with tirerack rating of 6.9 for noise comfort.

You mention High Performance street tire replacement. Do you mean you want to replace an Ultra High Performance summer tire with a "High Performance" summer tire? Because that isn't going to happen. HP summer tires are not going to offer better traction nor better ride comfort or noise comfort, it's a step down.

To improve you'd need Ultra High Performance All Season tires or
better Ultra HP Summer tires, or Max Performance summer tires. Is that what you meant?

205/45-17 limits what tires are available.
Assuming that you want to use that size and you want more comfort.
In UHP All Season tires-
Avon Tech M550 A/S $99 each noise comfort 7.6
Goodyear Eagle F1 All Season $126 each, new tire not rated but likely to be better than 7.0.

In the same size in UHP Summer tires-
Michelin Pilot Exalto PE2 $124 each, noise comfort 8.3
Kumho Ecsta SPT $93 each closeout, noise comfort 8.1
Dunlop Direzza DZ101 $105 each, noise comfort 8.0

In the same size in Max Perf Summer tires-
Dunlop SP Sport Maxx $128 each, noise comfort 8.3
